Spell Jars were originally known as 'Witch Bottles', back in 17th- century England they were used for protection against curses, filling them with personal fluids, pins and nails to repel malevolent energy. These days the ingredients are largely replaced with natural, more appealing ingredients like Herbs, Oils, Crystals and salt and the focus has shifted to more personal manifestation.
